    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Delivering exceptional advanced facial and skin treatments
    • Performing expert waxing, intimate waxing, brows and lash services
    • Providing outstanding consultations and bespoke treatment plans
    • Building long-term relationships with loyal clients
    • Confidently recommending homecare and treatment programmes
    • Maintaining the impeccable standards Duchess Lounge is known for
    • Supporting and inspiring less experienced team members where appropriate
    • Continuing to develop your own knowledge through ongoing education


    About You

    You’ll already be an experienced therapist who takes enormous pride in your work.

    You genuinely care about your clients.

    You’re fascinated by skin.

    You enjoy learning.

    You don’t settle for “good enough.”

    Essential

    • Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification (or equivalent)
    • Electrical facial qualification
    • Minimum 3 years’ salon experience
    • Excellent knowledge of advanced skincare
    • Confident in waxing, intimate waxing, brows and lash treatments
    • Exceptional client care and consultation skills
    • Professional, reliable and highly organised
    • Strong retail and treatment recommendation skills

     

    We’d Love It If You Also Have Experience in:

    • CACI
    • Advanced skin treatments
    • Skin Rocks
    • Massage
    • Training or mentoring junior therapists
      (Additional training can be provided for the right candidate.)

    Skin Rocks Pro facials and skincare journeys
    Bespoke advanced facial treatments tailored to each client’s skin concerns
    Skin consultations and treatment planning
    LED and advanced electrical facial treatments
    HD Brows and brow treatments
    LVL Lash Lift treatments
    Professional face and body waxing

    THE ROLE

    You’ll be delivering a wide range of high-quality treatments, including:

    • Advanced skincare & results-driven facials (with ongoing training provided)
    • Waxing (including intimate waxing)
    • Brow treatments & lash lifts
    • Massage
    • Manicures & pedicures
    • Client consultations and personalised treatment planning
    • You’ll play a key role in building long-term client relationships, confidently recommending treatments and homecare, and contributing to the elevated experience Duchess Lounge is known for.

    WHAT WE‘RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Fully qualified Beauty Therapist (Level 2 & 3 inc electrical facial unit advantageous)
    • Minimum 1 years salon experience
    • Strong foundation across core treatments (waxing, brows, lashes, skincare)
    • A genuine passion for beauty therapy, skincare and skin transformation
    • Confident in consultation, client care, and retail recommendations
    • Professional, reliable, and committed to high standards
    • A team player who takes pride in their work and environment

  • RECEPTIONIST

    Receptionist

    Part-Time | 26.5 Hours Per Week

    At Duchess Lounge, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional treatments and outstanding customer experiences in a luxury salon environment. We are looking for a confident, polished and professional Receptionist to become the face of our salon and help ensure every client receives a five-star experience.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves people, thrives in a busy environment and has a genuine interest in the beauty industry.

    Working Hours

    • Wednesday: 3.00pm – 7.30pm
    • Thursday: 3.00pm – 7.30pm
    • Friday: 9.00am – 7.30pm
    • Saturday: 8.30am – 4.30pm

     

    The Role

    As the first and last point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for creating a warm welcome, managing bookings, supporting the salon team with a variety of tasks and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcoming clients and delivering exceptional customer service
    • Managing appointment bookings and client enquiries
    • Answering calls, emails and online messages
    • Processing payments and daily cashing up
    • Promoting salon services and retail products
    • Maintaining client records and appointment schedules
    • Supporting the wider team including the senior salon manager to ensure smooth salon operations
    • Keeping reception and client areas immaculate and professional

    About You

    • Previous reception, front-of-house or customer service experience is essential
    • Experience within a beauty, hair, spa or wellness environment is preferred
    • Friendly, professional and well-presented
    • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • Highly confident and experienced with technology, booking systems and social media
    • Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences

    Please note: This position is not suitable for students due to the fixed working hours and long-term commitment required.
