  Duchess Lounge | Dundee are delighted to be recruiting a qualified Beauty Therapist, working at our flagship and busy Luxury Nail & Beauty Salon in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. An expert in your field you will be part of an elite team who strive for excellence as standard.

  ABOUT DUCHESS LOUNGE Duchess Lounge Luxury Nail & Beauty Salon is proudly located in Broughty Ferry, Dundee with a beautiful second location in Kirkcaldy, Fife. The team of highly skilled and educated nail and beauty experts ensure every treatment exceeds client expectations and pride themselves on providing a warm and friendly atmosphere at all times. We choose to focus on only the finest professional products and all treatments have been carefully selected for being of the highest quality. Our owner and manager, Nicola Payne, is intensely passionate about professionalism and customer care.

  DUTIES As a therapist at Duchess Lounge, you'll provide the highest quality client treatments using the most elite products including CACI, Crystal Clear, CND, Wax: One, Sienna X and Nouveau to name a few. You'll be performing a wide variety of beauty treatments including but not limited to facials, waxing, mani/pedi, lashes, tanning and brows. In addition, general reception duties, checking and maintaining stock levels, providing product and treatment advice as well as recording and maintaining client medical history and treatment details. You'll be great with people, a strong, positive, well-mannered communicator who has the ability to recommend aftercare products and recommendations in line with client requirements and treatments.

  REQUIREMENTS 

  • HNC/HND, L2 & L3 or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • We're looking for an individual who is well presented with a neat, polished personal appearance at all times. You must have a friendly and welcoming manner with the ability to make sure clients are relaxed and comfortable.
  • Must be well organised, self motivated and have a keen awareness of health and safety issues and procedures.
  • Ideal candidate will be computer literate with a good knowledge of a computerised booking system, have great time management skills and recent experience of an appointment led working day.
  • You'll be a great listener to truly understand the needs of the client, guaranteeing satisfaction with every treatment. As part of a small team you must be pro active, go the extra mile and work calmly under pressure.
  • You should be great at multi-tasking while delivering 5 star customer service at all times.
  • Retail sales are an important part of our business and a fantastic opportunity for you to earn commission, therefore previous experience of a retail environment would be beneficial.
  • We're looking for a F/T and P/T team member, but you must have the flexibility to occasionally work days/times out with your core hours to cover busy periods, sickness and annual leave as required by the business.

  TRAINING Conversion and product specific training is available for the right candidate.
