The Duchess Lounge team of highly skilled and educated nail, beauty & skin experts will ensure that every treatment exceeds client expectations and pride themselves on providing a warm and friendly atmosphere at all times.

We choose to focus on only the finest professional products and all of our treatments have been carefully selected ensuring the highest quality.

Our owner Nicola Payne, is intensely passionate about professionalism, customer care and education within the beauty industry and ensures herself and her teams are trained by industry leaders to the very highest standards for every treatment they perform. It has always been her dream to open a collective of salons that provide the highest standard of treatments and facilities whilst still affordable. Nicola believes strongly that a therapist should be three things at all times; Dedicated. Professional. Educated.

IMPORTANT SALON INFORMATION

 ARRIVAL Please note that late arrival will impact on your treatment time, whilst we will endeavour to perform the full treatment, in some cases we may have to reduce this. Complimentary hot and cold beverages are available upon arrival.

 LATE ARRIVAL In the instance of lateness we will endeavour to accommodate your full treatment, however there may be times where this is impossible due to time restraints, therefore the original appointment cost shall still apply. 

 CANCELLATION POLICY In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, please give us 48 hours notice. You may be charged for the cost of your treatment for cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice. Non arrival without notice will result in a full charge being made automatically. 

 PATCH TESTING All tint, HD and LVL services require patch testing at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please pop into the salon to have this quick and simple test. Alternatively book your patch test online.

 GIFT CARDS An ideal gift for any occassion. Available as physical or digital, our email delivery system makes purchasing and scheduling digital gift cards easier than ever! Simply pop into the salon to pick one up or visit www.duchesslounge.com today.

 WI-FI Duchess Lounge are pleased to provide free password protected wi-fi to all clients whilst at the salon. Ask at reception for security information.

 MOBILE PHONES We ask that you silence all mobile phones whilst in the salon. The use of mobile phones at your appointment is likely to impact the end result of your service.

 AGE REQUIREMENT All clients under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the full duration of their appointment.

    Salon Director/Nail Technician

    Nicola is our salon director as well as a CND Master Nail Technician. Having initially started the company mobile under the original name of Princess Nails Artistic Nail Lounge, Nicola completed a vast amount of CND nail training including both Gel and Liquid & Powder Nail Enhancements and holds the CND Master Painter qualification for Shellac.

    Nicola is intensely passionate about professionalism, customer care and education within the beauty industry and ensures herself and her teams are trained by industry leaders to the very highest standards for every treatment they perform. It has always been her dream to open a collective of salons that provide the highest standard of treatments and facilities whilst still affordable.

    Senior Salon Manager

    Our Senior Salon Manager Alison is a highly skilled manager who embodies our salon values, Dedicated. Professional. Educated. Since first joining Team DL in March 2015 her polite nature teamed with her exceptional efficiency and wealth of experience, Alison has proven herself to be a valuable asset in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon. Her polite demeanour creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for both staff and clients.

    Alison's professionalism shines through in her ability to handle various tasks with grace and precision, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. From managing schedules and coordinating appointments to addressing client enquiries and concerns, Alison's organisational skills and attention to detail are unparalleled.     Beauty Therapist

    Having joined us in October 2021 Kriss is a valued member of Team DL and continues to build on her knowledge within her career by completing advanced training for the treatments she provides.

    Showing a keen interest in anti-ageing treatments Kriss has developed a specialisation in our phenomenal CACI anti-ageing skincare treatments. With a deep understanding of the treatment and a passion for helping clients achieve youthful and radiant skin, Kriss has become a sought-after CACI expert showcasing her in-depth knowledge of the CACI system, which combines microcurrent technology and advanced skincare techniques.

    With her expertise, coupled with a warm and friendly demeanor, Kriss is great at building strong relationships with clients, helping them feel confident and rejuvenated.

    Kriss is a valuable team member and continues to go from strength to strength.

    Tay is a newly qualified member of the Duchess Lounge team, with a strong passion for perfecting all things nails. While she may be quiet and a little nervous, her determination to learn and improve shines through in everything she does. Tay is committed to refining her skills and delivering excellent service to our clients. We’re excited to watch Tay grow as she builds her confidence and expertise in the world of nails and beauty!

    Beauty Therapist

    Gemma joins Duchess Lounge as an experienced beauty therapist and a background as a qualified lash extension trainer with a passion for nails, lashes, and brows. Eager to expand her expertise, she has recently completed further training with CND, HD Brows and Nouveau Beauty under the guidance of Duchess Lounge.

    Friendly, confident, and enthusiastic, Gemma creates a welcoming salon experience. She loves helping clients feel their very best, whether through beautiful nails, lifted lashes, or perfectly shaped brows, ensuring everyone leaves feeling confident and pampered.

    Junior Therapist

    Bubbly, cheerful, and passionate about brows and nails, Kora is dedicated to delivering her best and leaving clients feeling happy and confident.

    A recent graduate of Dundee & Angus College, she has now joined Team DL and is expanding her skills with ongoing training in CND Shellac, HD Brows, Wax:One, Crystal Clear COMCIT, CACI facials, and more.

    After completing her studies in Beauty Therapy at Dundee & Angus College, she joined Team DL to continue her journey with advanced in-house and external training, including Crystal Clear COMCIT, CACI facials, CND Shellac, HD Brows, and Wax:One.

    Warm, professional, and versatile, Caragh enjoys offering a wide range of treatments and creating a welcoming experience for every client.

    Having completed her Beauty Therapy training at Dundee & Angus College, she is now undertaking further development with Team DL in advanced systems including COMCIT, CACI, HD Brows, CND Shellac, and Wax:One.

    Caragh’s gentle nature and passion for her craft make her a wonderful addition to the team.
